I am from Rochester, New York and came to Georgia to pursue a master's degree in engineering from Georgia Tech. I received my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University in upstate New York. After working in corporate America for some time, I decided to change careers and become a teacher to help introduce students to careers in STEM. I completed a year of residency teaching at Perry Middle School during the 2022 / 2023 school year and graduated with a master's degree in middle grades education from Georgia College and State University in the summer of 2023. Now I am a 6th grade science teacher.
