Mr. Wallace began his teaching career on the Mississippi Gulf Coast near Biloxi, where he taught 7th-grade Math from 1999 to 2006. Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, he and his family relocated to central Georgia.

Since then, Mr. Wallace has taught at Perry Middle School for over 15 years. He spent most of that time teaching 7th-grade Math and was honored as Teacher of the Year during the 2010–2011 school year. In 2021, he transitioned to teaching 6th-grade Math and Science. As of 2025, he has returned to 7th grade, now teaching Science.

Mr. Wallace holds a Bachelor's, Master's, and Education Specialist degree in K–8 Education from the University of West Alabama. He is married, has four sons, and enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
