I am Jeff Pinckley and this is my seventh year at Perry Middle School where I have been a student teacher, a substitute teacher, an 8th Grade Georgia History, Science, and Math teacher, and am now one of the 6th Grade Social Studies teachers (my fifth year as a teacher). I feel blessed to be part of the wonderful Perry Middle family and try to be a positive influence and spread a smile every opportunity I can.

Teaching is a second career after serving in the United States Air Force (USAF) for over 25 years where I held numerous jobs that included Education and Training Manager, First Sergeant, Quality Assurance and Product Improvement Manager, Instructor, and Munitions Technician. While in the USAF I completed two Associate Degrees through the Community College of the Air Force as well as completing the Non-commissioned Officer (NCO) and Senior NCO Academies. 

After retiring from the USAF, I attended Mercer University where I received my Bachelor's of Science teaching degree in Middle Grades Education. 

I am married to Dr. Tonya Pinckley, who is also an educator here in Houston County at Bonaire Elementary. We have four children, Richard, James, Rebecca, and William as well as two grandsons, Julian and Liam.
