I am Jeff Pinckley and this is my eighth year teaching at Perry Middle School. I also did my student teaching and was a substitute teacher at PMS. Before teaching 6th grade at Perry Middle, I was taught 8th Grade Georgia History, Science, and Math, I feel blessed to be part of the wonderful Perry Middle family and try to be a positive influence and spread a smile every opportunity I can.

Teaching is my second career after serving in the United States Air Force (USAF) for over 25 years where I held numerous jobs that included Education and Training Manager, First Sergeant, Quality Assurance and Product Improvement Manager, Instructor, and Munitions Technician. While in the USAF I completed two Associate Degrees through the Community College of the Air Force as well as completing the Non-commissioned Officer (NCO) and Senior NCO Academies. 

After retiring from the USAF, I attended Mercer University where I graduated Magna cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science teaching degree in Middle Grades Education. 

I am married to Dr. Tonya Pinckley, who is also an educator at Bonaire Elementary also here in Houston County. We have four children, Richard, James, Rebecca, and William and four grandchildren; Julian, Liam, Mallory, and Charlotte.
