Bio

I am originally from the Atlanta Metro area. I was a former majorette and Atlanta Hawks Cheerleader. I started my career path as a fitness instructor and moved toward a career in counseling because I enjoy helping young people reach their highest potential. I attended Oxford College of Emory University and later transferred to Georgia State University where I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my graduate degree in Counseling. I completed my Ed.S. from Fort Valley State University in 2012. I am currently working on my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). I have been a Proud Perry Panther since 2005 and lead the peer helper leadership program.

Through the years I served on the Georgia School Counselor Association in several leadership positions: Archives Chair, Second Vice-President, Conference Committee, Treasurer, Middle School Work-setting Chair, Peer Helper Liaison, and Exhibits Co-Chair. I will serve as Middle School Liaison for the 2020-2021 school year.

I have a beautiful college age daughter who keeps me busy.  I enjoy reading and exercising, and serving others at church.
