This is Coach G's second year teaching and coaching at Perry Middle School. She will be teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade PE and coaching 7th grade softball and 8th grade girls basketball.

She spent 2 years teaching Health & PE at Perry High School and was also head girls basketball coach and head girls track coach. She was born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania where she attended Altoona High School and participated in basketball, track and soccer. After high school, she received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She was a member of the women's basketball team and 3-time all Peach Belt Conference selection at UNCP. Following college, she began her coaching career at Georgia College in Milledgeville as a graduate assistant coach where she received her Masters of Education in Kinesiology. At Georgia College, she met her husband, Mark, who is the Head Boys Basketball coach at Perry High. They have been married 15 years and have 2 children: Abe (9th grade at Perry High School) and Annie Grove (5th grade at Langston Road Elementary. She spent the prior 10 years teaching PE and coaching at John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, GA.
