Mrs. Arnold – 6th Grade Gifted ELA Teacher
With 25 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Arnold brings a deep love of learning and a passion for helping students grow each day. Originally from beautiful Saint Simons Island, Georgia, she has called Houston County home for many years. She has been happily married to her husband, Lee, for 25 years, and together they have raised four children—all of whom proudly graduated from the Houston County School System.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Mrs. Arnold actively pursues professional development, continues to work on her degrees and is participating in the Houston County Leadership Academy. She believes in staying current with best practices and collaborating with colleagues to help all students succeed. Her commitment to continuous growth and leadership strengthens both her teaching and her school community.
Mrs. Arnold still finds great joy in the classroom, where she creates a supportive and engaging environment for her students. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her dedication to both education and community is at the heart of everything she does.
