Mrs. Felder has been teaching middle school for fifteen years. She received her Bachelors degree from Fort Valley State University, and her Masters degree from Georgia Southwestern State University. She began her teaching career at Crisp County Middle School, where she taught 8th grade language arts for two years. Mrs. Felder transitioned to Houston County in 2006, and taught 8th grade language arts and Georgia History at Northside Middle School for two years. She is currently teaching 7th grade language arts at Perry Middle School. Since coming to Houston County in 2006, she has taught both 7th and 8th grade language arts and social studies. Mrs. Felder believes that all students can learn. She has spent thirteen years in the Houston County School System doing things the Houston County way. Mrs. Felder counts it a pleasure to work in a system where producing high achieving students while striving to become a world class educational system is the main goal.
